• Static IP with internet sharing?
    0 replies, posted
So I have a network of Computers/Servers in my room, One of my computers recieves wireless from my hub. This computer then shares the internet with it's gigabit ethernet, which then connects to an 8 port ethernet switch. What I want to know is how to set static IP's on each machine that connects to the hub. I have already tried just setting it up normally, But unfortunately it disables internet on the machines. The recieving node has an IP of 192.168.1.150 and the ethernet: 192.168.0.2 and a subnet 255.255.255.0 . It's running Windows XP professional, And all the rest of the IP fields are empty (Using ipv4). So the bottom line is, I want to set static IP's on a machine with internet shared to it. Thanks. <EDIT> Thread Moved, Wrong section http://facepunch.com/threads/1174486?p=35388879#post35388879 <EDIT>
