It was delayed after E3. Delayed to this month.
They delayed the community alpha due to moving to the new version of PhysX or so, but no news after that, for such a long downtime on news, this was rather weak, but still, it's better than nothing.
I hope Greece can get their foot out of their arse, which is sticking out of their mouth at the moment.

i'm fairly certain the article is wrong, the community alpha was supposed to be this year, but it got delayed right after E3
pretty sure the devs have said that the game itself won't be coming out this year
