That's right. As soon as I turn 17, I plan on getting a motorbike. I'm from the UK,So I can hopefully get my Standard Motorcycle License. Does anyone here ride a motorbike? Because it'd be nice to get to know what you all ride, as well as picking up a few reccomendations... Questions I do have are: -How is the practical test? -What motorbike would you reccomend for someone?
How much road experience do you have?
17? Dohoho, here the age is 15.
How much road experience do you have?
Practically none. D: I mean, I cycle to my 6th form using the road, but I know it's hardly anything like a motorbike...
At the age of 17, I'm going to get a girlfriend.
Unless you really are social and love to rely on someone else, it's not worth it. Related on-topic, just remember the rules and changing gears if it's not automatic. Otherwise, it's almost like driving a bike. note: ALMOST.
Unless you really are social and love to rely on someone else, it's not worth it.
Don't listen to this, it's completely untrue
Don't listen to this, it's completely untrue
Depends on what kind of a person you are. It's true for some people, don't lie. I hate when people think someone else is completely the same as they are.
Have you signed for organ donation yet?
At the age of 17, I'm going to get a girlfriend.
Nice to know. [editline]11:10PM[/editline]
Have you signed for organ donation yet?
No but I plan to... I know riding a motorbike is potentially dangerous.
Nice to know. [editline]11:10PM[/editline] No but I plan to... I know riding a motorbike is potentially dangerous.
Depends on the conditions. Wear a helmet, try to drive on dry roads, keep the tires fixed, don't drive ridiculously fast and over time your experience grows. Of course, accidents happen but that's why human body has a nice thing called regeneration.

If I were you I would get a dirtbike before getting a streetbike. Though they're both completely different, you'll have better instinct on how to react in certain situations from using a dirtbike that you can't learn on a streetbike.
Enjoy getting an accident.

Don't go telling everyone it isn't worth it though, because for the vast majority of people it is more than worth it
Enjoy getting an accident.
It's cheaper to get in an accident in the long run than just pay for that fucking metal horse eating your money for gas.
I read the title as: "At the age of 17, I'm going to be a motorbike." I expected a riveting tale of how one would become a motorbike and how they would act when they are transformed into motor bike. Needless to say I was disappointed.
