Worth to pay more-than-average for FTL. Whole bundle is good as well.
FEZ YES I LOVE FEZ
That amazing feeling of buying fez and sharing the profits with everyone except Phil Fish.
Well, I have all of these except for Brutal Legend and Eets Munchies... Guess I'll just go for the average this time instead of the usual 15 dollar. [editline]11th September 2013[/editline]
That amazing feeling of buying fez and not having a single penny of it go to Phil Fish.
You gave no money to the developers? Doesn't that make you more of an asshole than Phil?
That amazing feeling of buying fez and not having a single penny of it go to Phil Fish.
But what about Klei
you realize you can choose which developers you can give money too right?
Had no idea actually.
Have some steam keys FTL : 2QR6J-ZTBRI-A047R Mark of the Ninja : 2LVE7-9KZEN-H94Q8 Trine 2 : X5C33-QRDYR-MA05Z
[editline]11th September 2013[/editline] You gave no money to the developers? Doesn't that make you more of an asshole than Phil?
I gave everyone and every section an equal cut, except Phil.
you realize you can choose which developers you can give money too right?
You realize that Phil wasn't the only person who worked on Fez, right?
Reformat those so the keybots don't get them.
What do you mean?
You realize that Phil wasn't the only person who worked on Fez, right?
There were two developers on the game, weren't it?
What do you mean?
changing a letter to ? for example and put at the end "?= letter"
changing a letter to ? for example and put at the end "?= letter"
But why? What are these 'keybots'?
damn it, I already bought FTL.
But why? What are these 'keybots'?
Bots that scour forums for keys and immediately snatch them up.
But why? What are these 'keybots'?
Not sure if those exist for real or not but the theory says they are bot that lurks in threads searching for keys and then use them.
And Brutal Legend.
Not sure if those exist for real or not but the theory says they are bot that lurks in threads searching for keys and then use them.
When you post a key and literally a half second later its taken and nobody says "Thanks!", you got bot'd Little scripts that can copy a plaintext key and use it before your page even finishes refreshing. They're everywhere.
Now I know :) Cheers
Keybots are stupid conspiracy theories. The odds that there is a bot looking through a forum that requires registration, that immediately takes any and all keycodes posted and uses them is absurd. How would the bot know what the key is for? A program like this would be incredibly complex. A more realistic scenario: Someone takes the key and doesn't say anything because they don't feel like it.
Last time I played FTL I got super lucky early on and got a cloaking device super quick. Ended the session then and there because I knew it could only be downhill from there. That was almost exactly 1 year ago. :v: I should just boot it up again, it's great fun if you can tolerate the angry RNG gods. I think I'll replay it in easy mode for that very reason, at least to beat the campaign once and/or get a different ship or something. -- -- Mark of the Ninja's pretty great, too, tho the keyboard controls need a bit of getting used to before you can control the ninja as fluidly as the animations allow you to. The different "paths" that alter your gamestyle also add quite a bit of variety to the game. It does have that stealth game problem of "welp I got spotted, just shoot me right here and now so I don't have to reload" tho since it gives you a pretty hefty point penalty for fuckups and makes score relevant all the time for everything you do. If you don't have a problem with that, it's great gameplay and visuals with an alright story that gets better in the second half. The DLC's alright: - bonus mission that doesn't add a lot of fluff, but is rather extensive and serves as a good tutorial for items and path - new path adds quick non-lethal takedowns which make that "don't kill anyone" goal much easier to reach, especially since you're still allowed to carry an attack item if things go sour. - new items are a) Dust Moths that silently disable lights (even spot lights!) and guards for a short time and b) Fungal Spores that infest and kill one dude, then kill another dude that find the corpse and vanish. Did I mention the infested fungus continues to breathe loudly in the corpse's lungs? Yikes. - Dev commentary was pretty boring for the most part IMO. They also aren't voice-acted like in HL2 for example, so every time you find a note you get a couple text paragraphs in your face. Overall I'm pretty happy with it tho, it got me enough new stuff to experiment with to finish the game a second time in New Game Plus and earn the rest of the achievements.

If they can narrow down specific posts and rate them, they can copy the text in the message body. And from there, knowing the format for keys, all they have to do is search it and copy it. Past that, the coding involves communication with steam's keycode entering interface, which you can already control steam via command line to some extent so its really not that impractical. Have I seen the bots myself? No, but I've seen the concepts involved, it wouldn't be that difficult.
Anyone elses keys not actually giving them anything...? getting this with multiple keys. edit: restarting steam fixes it
