I can't run minecraft on 1280 x 1024 res, but I like running my monitor on it.

Hey, guys. I've decided to run my monitor on 1280x1024 unlike my usual 1024 x 768, but one problem, minecraft lags like a son of a bitch with it on. Is there some way to make it so I run minecraft with 1024 x 768, but keep my monitor at 1280 x 1024?

Is 1280x1024 the native resolution for your monitor? You could run minecraft in a window, which effectively is running it at whatever resolution you resize the window to.

You can't run in full-screen I do believe.
