But I want to remake my dwarf from dao :( he got all the bitches. Also please optional old school isometric view
Laidlaw said the customization of characters will follow the Dragon Age Origins format.
No, that link states it's going to be "bigger" than Dragon Age: Origins. In fact I remember a blog post that made it very clear they weren't happy with follower customisation in that game. For reasons that made perfect sense to a character and costume designer and meant dick all to me.
They'll let you change the colour of things in the castle... that's all.
Tree that I can see grown in 10 years or no sale.
"Press X and something awesome gets built"
Just give us more exploration and things to do than in Origins. That already had much more than DA2 so just surpass the original is all
Its pretty sad they developed a level bigger then all the DA2 maps combined. It really just puts things in to perspective on how shitty DA2 was, but what can you expect it had a extremely short development time for a RPG.
From what I'm reading they might of shaped up and understood why DA2 was shit, not like other companies go "oh well we lost our original fan base, we have these new guys that like this style so let's continue and make the sequels to their interest" But then again it could still easily be crap and be fan fiction quality again but at least that concept art looks nice and I hope it looks like that in game.
Gotta say, wasn't expecting it.
So, will the whole game take place in the same 3 maps in your castle?
I have absolutely no faith in this game whatsoever.
Wait, Mike Laidlaw? That's terribly close to Mark Laidaw.
Goddamnit, I don't want to play as another dirty stinking human.
Dem buzzwords, I'll believe it when I see it. Cause afte DA2, EA can fuck off until they show me something. So, I'm going to agree with Jackald and
Hopefully they take away the whole click to attack thing. When I play a party based RPG like Dragon Age, I don't want to have to click all the time. I want to be able to pause, give an order, switch to another character, give an order and so on. Not like DA2 which tried to make the series into an action RPG.
Aye; I was hoping to RP as a rogue Qunari mage. Now the best I can hope for is a Qunari mage party member. So long as the background stories are actually Origins-esque, and have a more significant impact on the story, I can remain somewhat neutral on the subject of abhorrently-limited racial choice. However, the whole castle thing sounds kinda interesting; I liked Vigil's Keep from Awakening, after all. What am I saying; this is EA BioWare we're talking about; I should be far more pessimistic.
Going to make my castle straight from the bioware forums, Tali sweat rooms and biodrone basements
Screw their sand castles, I want to be any race but human. And that's the only choise I get. *sigh*
