www.redtube.com ^ Reason
Partly this. Porn has to account for at least two thirds of people being infected. Other than that it's those free PC scan pop ups and other retarded shit like that. As long as you have moderate intelligence and a decent anti-virus you should be fine.
Have to agree with OP, I've never had a virus on any piece of hardware I own. Only precautions I use are my wits, common sense and noscript.
Yeah, porn sites, download files from untrusted pages, using outdated antivirus/browsers, not paying attention to firewalls/antivirus warnings, and even downloading malware intentionally in attempt to steal some MSN passwords.
Warez might be another contributor to people getting viruses. Especially if they use awful, infected places like Limewire. (I am not condoning warez)
Yeah, porn sites, download files from untrusted pages, using outdated antivirus/browsers, not paying attention to firewalls/antivirus warnings, and even downloading malware intentionally in attempt to steal some MSN passwords.
If I want to use 'dodgy' software in any form, I download it in a virtual machine, use it, then roll back the machine to a previous state. Not rocket science is it?

(I am not condoning warez)
If you take the shitty non-marked releases. I've never seen any complaints on group releases, contrary to non-group releases.
I use Linux, so I really don't have much to worry about.

May I flip the question on to you? People get viruses. Get over it.
Vista or 7, uac on, limited user account. Biggest attack vector for virii just got eliminated, i.e. user stupidity coupled with admin access.
I got one from a hacked Youtube comment a few days ago. I was able to pwn it quite thoroughly with just Task Manager though.
I hope you are trolling.
You obviously haven't the slightest clue as to what trolling means.
I hope you are trolling.
You just lost game.
About the porn sites thing: Do you save your porn or something? Why bother when you can just go on the site?
You obviously haven't the slightest clue as to what trolling means.
I've never heard of a "hacked" youtube comment.
I've never heard of a "hacked" youtube comment.
One with code for a script in it or something like that.
I bet if you run a virus scan, OP, you will find your computer is infected with malware.

I agree 100% with OP on this one. I've used windows for as long as I can remember, and I have never had a virus. I don't download suspicious things or anything from suspicious sites, I let my AV prevent anything running if I don't know what it is... I just don't see how people can get viruses (that should really be "virii") so often
I've never heard of a "hacked" youtube comment.
Is it just me? If see or hear something I don't know about, I google it and find out. Look here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/10506150
