Is this a joke? A i7 with a LGA 775 mobo? Don't get a 295, get a 5970.
Im a noob, i never found out how many pins or w/e a i7 has. Help please? :(
Screw this, can someone else help him, I'm already getting pissed off...
major dissing in incoming [editline]10:24PM[/editline] Would a Intel Xeon X3440 Lynnfield 2.53GHz 8MB L3 Cache LGA 1156 95W Quad-Core Server Processor work with that mobo?
2,000 what?

oh god, he is even watercooling this, this can only go bad from now... edit: whats an i7 e7500 :downs:
No. You need a "LGA775" Intel chip. Or go for a Socket 1156 and get an i5 or the 1156 Socket Core i7. Ditch that XFX board since it only supports DDR2. It's not that hard to put a PC together, and why on earth would you spend close to $100 for a network card that won't guarantee anything for gaming. Here's how it works: Budget Research Brand (Intel or AMD) Compatibility (Read the part descriptions to ensure everything will be supported) Essentials (Don't add random parts that are unnecessary i.e Bigfoot Killer NIC, Onboard works just as good.) Sites (Sometimes the best deals come from searching different computer sites which will help you in the long run and save you a few extra $$$) Also, Your better off removing those Western Digital Green's for something better. They're better off for storage and power saving then speed and performance.
what [editline]07:12PM[/editline]
Cooler Master HAF 932 High Air Flow ATX Full Tower Case Black SCYTHE MUGEN REV.B SCMG-2100 CPU COOLER FOR LGA A-Power ACE 1000W 20+4-pin ATX PSU with SATA, PCIe & 8-pin +12V Connector (Black) Iomega Prestige 1 TB USB 2.0 Desktop External Hard Drive 34275 Thermaltake Mobile Fan II External USB Cooling Fan X2 Crucial CT2KIT25664BC1067 4GB 204-PIN PC3-8500 SODIMM DDR3 Memory X2 Western Digital 1 TB Caviar Green SATA Intellipower 32 MB Cache Bulk/OEM Desktop Hard Drive WD10EADS X2 XFX nForce 750i SLI - Motherboard - ATX - nForce 750i SLI - LGA775 Socket - UDMA133, SATA-300 (RAID), eSATA - Gigabit Ethernet - FireWire - HD Audio (8-channel) BFG GeForce GTX 295 - Graphics adapter - 2 GPUs - GF GTX 295 - PCI Express 2.0 x16 - 1792 MB GDDR3 - DVI, HDMI ( HDCP ) - HDTV out X2 Intel i7 E7500 @ 2.93 GHz Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium Microsoft Natural Ergo Keyboard 4000 Logitech MX 518 High Performance Optical Gaming Mouse (Metal) Sony Optiarc AD-7240S-0B 24X Dual Layer DVD+/-RW SATA Drive, Bulk (Black) Bigfoot Killer NIC 10/100/1000 PCI 400 MHz NPU RJ-45 USB 2.0 Retail Thermaltake BigWater 760i Liquid Cooling System Thermaltake Itube 6 Uv Sensitive Water Tube x 3 Big Coolant 1000CC Total 2,000 I just searched around, i think it pretty cheap for the performance.
what [editline]07:12PM[/editline] best be trollin
You do realize I tried explaining to him that you can't build a PC if nothing's compatible. Look at his list and tell me he doesn't know that his chip, mobo, ram aren't compatible with each other.
Why in the world do you have a 1000w PSU?
Why in the world do you have a 1000w PSU?
bragging rights

Get a Xeon X3440 with a socket 1156 motherboard, a 5970, 4GBs of G. Skill RipJaws, a 750W Corsair, and a HAF 932.
WTF is this, some troll? I mean "Intel Core i7 E7500", seriously...
Why do you have 4gb of RAM when the i7 is triple channel?
Why do you have 4gb of RAM when the i7 is triple channel?
920 is triple-channel, 860 is dual-channel. It could be either one.
Also im just saying about the i7 e7500 becuase i have one from my old PC lying around. Of course knowing decent cores cost like $1,000.
Also im just saying about the i7 e7500 becuase i have one from my old PC lying around. Of course knowing decent cores cost like $1,000.
Then it's a Core 2 Duo E7500. If that's the case then get that XFX Board and switch out that DDR3 RAM for DDR2 if you want.

Need a new mobo as stated, the i7 requires 1366 socket. Wouldnt suggest the 295, get a 5870 or better a 5970. Get higher mhz ram, 8500 aint that fast.

There's another 1156 i7, but I don't remember if it's the 910 or 870? Or neither? Having a brain fart right now.
... I think building your own computer is a little too ambitious for you.
Need a new mobo as stated, the i7 requires 1366 socket.
or an 1156 socket rate me clocks if you must
i7 E7500 Doesnt exist. You mean the Core 2 Duo E7500. Which is an older dual core proc. i7 ### series are however brand new. Heres a list of intel processor series from old to new. Dual core *#### Core 2 Duo E#### Core 2 Quad Q#### i5 ### i7 ####
