Burning Pain. HELP QUICK! - General

I just burnt right through the fucking oven glove into my hand and it hurts like a mother fucker. IS THERE ANY WAY TO HELP EASE THE PAIN FAST??? FUCK

Jab your hand in a tub of room-temp water. NOT COLD or else you'll wound your hand even more. -EDIT- The pain will slowly decrease and once its at a toleratable state, apply disinfectant and wrap a cloth around it.

Toothpaste - trust me.

Cold water on a hot burn causes nerve damage and scarring. Doctors treat bruises and non-burny things with cold compresses to cause constriction in the blood vessles. Anyways, first advice was sound. Room temp/lukewarm water, then disinfectent and bandage. If you're lacking disinfectent, rubbing alchohol or just a thorough scrubbing. None of this "soap" shit because you'll never clean it all off, and dry soap in a wound is a hilarious fucker.

NEVER put any chemicals on a burn. Run it under COOL, not cold or room temp, water. This is first aid people, not folk medicine.

If you're right, I owe you one.[/QUOTE] Tooth paste contains fluoride and other chemicals that ease the pain of burns, try it, it works, I had 2nd degree burns on the whole of my lip, fixed it fast, other than that use water to stop blisters and after a while (10 minutes) stop the applying water, face the pain for a couple minutes and it eases. Edit: Toothpaste... t-o-o-t-h-p-a-s-t-e isn't going to give you herpes etc.

Hold it under a cold tap for 10 minutes That will get rid of the burning pain
