• Why there isn't flash on the iDevices

This is my personal answer. What is flash? Flash is an area in a website where it enables vast customization, rather than simply using text or pictures. Why isn't there flash on my iPhone/iTouch/iPad? 1. Imagine trying to navigate flash inside of a webpage (e.g. a game) using a touchscreen. 2. It is most likely heavy on the processor and other key specs. It would be very difficult to do anything flash related on these kinds of devices especially with a touch screen, so everybody please stop saying that there needs to be flash. It is not very important anyways.
alot of flash videos and websites have features that would be hard to use on an idevice (rollover menus that do something else when you click them etc). plus i think apple is starting an html5 revolution for most media content, like how the ipad can view html5 video
Steve Jobs was raped by the flash. And if he can kill flash, those memories can be suppressed.

I suppose Apple doesn't want a horde of apps that don't look + feel like other apps.
It would ruin the Appstore.
Apple is simly waiting for everyone to use HTML5 instead, which i think is a great idea.
Because Adobe sucks dick. They couldn't program their way out of a wet paper sack.
Adobe has created a Flash --> HTML5 converter to basically destroy Apple's lack of adobe products
Because then nobody would buy all the crap in the AppStore.
What makes you assume people are going to replicate what already exists in Flash?
What makes you assume people are going to replicate what already exists in Flash?
because it works, well
because it works, well
Same argument goes for the opposite.
What makes you assume people are going to replicate what already exists in Flash?
Because Apple devices is a sizable market and if you want to reach those you'll have to dump shitty old lockin.exe/flash
flash is crap and slow on any non-windows platform and even on windows it's pretty bad. [editline]01:28AM[/editline] adobe has no commitment to anything other than the shit codebase that already exists. they're doing what microsoft does and sacrificing quality for backward compatibility, an ideal that apple does NOT believe in.

Adobe isn't doing much with Flash. Wow, a new tweening method that's shit! Wow, basic 3D object manipulation (IMO they should give a giant 'fuck you' to Swift3D and allow for some 3D modeling inside the Flash software)! At least Macromedia was trying to make it run faster, with them adding in bitmap caching and whatnot. Speaking of Flash, does anybody know whether autosave is finally a fucking feature in Flash CS5?
Imagine the exploits they could use. You know every week Adobe's products are riddled with holes from previous patches.

Doing editing with tons of layers in Fireworks is near impossible.

My iPod Touch has flash, not a hard thing to get. Simple.
Damn it, why can't Adobe recognize the fact that they have buggy software and they need to have an autosave feature for all of their products [editline]12:54AM[/editline]
My iPod Touch has flash, not a hard thing to get.
