Okay, ever since I plugged my PC to the router using an LAN cable, I've been having really strange connectivity problems. Such as, at one moment, servers will be fine with reasonable pings of like, 50 etc. The next, they'll all spike up to 1000's, except like, three of them. If I join a server with a 1000 ping, I don't lag in game and my scoreboard shows a ping of 50. I've unplugged the LAN cable and used wireless, but the problem persists. It's a really weird problem, and I've swapped out the router with a spare identical model (Netgear DG834G) and it hasn't fixed it.
Any idea what is going on?
