• Good GPU for tiny power supply?

I had the misfortune of receiving a pre-built computer for my birthday last year. It was a rather decent computer, with a 9800GT(512MB version), 4GB of RAM, and an Intel E7500 @ 2.93Ghz, however I'm looking to upgrade my graphics card. I have 1x PCI-E 2.0 16x slot available. Here's the problem. Dell has the nasty habit to toss in a shit, 350W power supply. Also the case is rather small and I can't have the card be too big otherwise it won't fit (I'm not sure the dimensions of a 9800GT) I can't upgrade the power supply because Dell basically welds that shit in there. I can't find any on Newegg with a power requirement of less than 400. Has anyone in my situation known a solution? My budget would be $125 maximum, although if it's worth it I can go up to 150.
You can't really get much better than a 9800GT with a 350W PSU and $125 [editline]f[/editline] Honestly your entire computer is just mediocre and there would be little use upgrading one component

He can't screw it out. It's a specially designed Dell PSU that cannot be removed.
What model is it
Oh dell.....
Sell the whole computer + collect a fund for a new, custom build.
Sell the whole computer + collect a fund for a new, custom build.
No because then I'm shit out of luck for a PC until I save enough for it. Which wouldn't be for a while because I don't have a job/am too young for one (less than a month) EDIT: Here's what it says on the page
Power 350 Watt DC Power Supply Backup battery: 3-V CR2032 lithium coin cell

Theirs this new thing called a screwdriver. EDIT 2: APPARENTLY THE TOWER VERSION OF THE STUDIO 540 (WHICH I HAVE) HAS AN UPGRADABLE POWER SUPPLY AS IT USES THE ATX STYLE. THANKS EVERYONE!
Graphics card companies overestimate watt usage to be sure. The 5770 requires 450 watt, but in reality it won't use much more then 255: I'm putting one on my 425 power supply. If it's only 25-50 watt over I wouldn't really worry.
It's not just the overall Wattage you have to look at. So it claims to have a 420W total output, but how is that distributed? For example, if Zemog has a PSU labelled as 420W, it could well have very low Amperage on the 12 V rail(s) and not be able to power a 5770 at all, as is often the case with cheap units. The other scenario is that it's a high quality unit and would probably have no problem powering a 5770. 150 isn't enough for a decent upgrade on the GPU anyway.

That being said, you can probably run a 5770 on a 400w granted its a quality PSU.

Why? How do you know your PSU isn't a crappy one?
