I've recently reformatted my XP drive and installed 7 Ultimate (64-bit). Something to note is that this is my first 64-bit OS and I don't know, or think, (if) anything is different. Is there anything I should watch out for? Thanks.
Well you can't run 16bit programs. I don't think theres anything else you need to look out for.
And you need 64-Bit drivers. But that is about it really. Programs will now install in two places: Program Files for 64-Bit and Program Files (x86) for 32-Bit. Apparently you can run 16-Bit through Dosbox if it's just some games.
That won't be a problem, never had anything that's 16-bit.
More RAM could help, if it's less than 2gb
