So basically, I'm looking for a new build for Christmas as I've had my current one for 3 years already. I'd like something able to play Skyrim/BF3 good.
What all do you need? OS, speakers, monitor, etc? Is there anything that you already have?

Do you recommend OEM or retail Windows 7?
Do you recommend OEM or retail Windows 7?
Definitely OEM. I wouldn't sacrifice performance to get it, though.
Definitely OEM. I wouldn't sacrifice performance to get it, though.
I'll being getting that, as I can go over by a little bit.
I'll being getting that, as I can go over by a little bit.
In that case, I certainly recommend it.

Looks decent enough if you can go above your budget. The antec300 isnt a that great of a case, but it still does its job. And you should consider getting a 2500k from somewhere else.
I would get a 2500k.
I would get a 2500k.
2500k is still out of stock tratzzz
The only reason I wouldn't recommend the 2500k is because it's out of stock. If you can get one plus an aftermarket cooler from another site, take advantage of it!
Is it back in stock? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819115072 [editline]28th November 2011[/editline]
Is it back in stock? 2500k is back in stock on newegg
What would be a better case, and after-market heatsink for the 2500k?
What would be a better case, and after-market heatsink for the 2500k?
well if you get a small case with low air-flow, then I suggest go with liquid cooling, Corsair makes good coolers, H60 or H80 would do nicely if you are getting a big case and don't like liquid cooling then get something massive like; http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835608018 or http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835103055
