If only they had a special bit of love for the optimization of PC games [editline]18th January 2018[/editline] Or innovating at all
A bit early for their yearly attempt to regain standing with the PC gaming community.
i know you have a hateboner for ubisoft but their pc offerings have increased significantly in quality from their old days look at any options menu in a modern ubisoft game + the support they have for their pc games being often way ahead of console versions (siege, for honor)
And yet Uplay's still a pile of garbage that randomly drops you from parties and shows people as offline when they aren't, making it annoyingly difficult to play Siege with your friends sometimes.
uPlay is alright. It's fast enough to get in, play my games and get out.
Uplay is some garbage but honestly Ubisoft has been one of the better publishers of 2017 compared to others.
is it still not possible to disable the uplay adverts you get when you close a game there's seriously something amazing in getting a siege season pass advertisment every time siege crashes on you
AC Origins has fantastic PC options and features. Uplay is unnecessary crap, but if they keep this trend with their games, I'd be happy.
It's literally choose your poison when dealing with gaming companies. Everyone has their strengths and weaknesses.

As far as I'm concerned, they don't give a shit about PC until they stop lying to my face. They can add as many features and options to their menus as they like, it doesn't matter if it's all negated by an artificial CPU bottleneck.
With the current big players at the moment, I can't say I have a lot of hate for Ubisoft. They're still not great, but they are doing better. Which is more than what can be said for the likes of activation and EA.
