Both of them sound pretty ace. Like the article mentions, even the thought of a pseudo Pokemon Snap would make the AR Searcher a fun novelty application.
The full 3D Pokedex sounds pricy to be honest but if all of the Pokemon are given the same amount of attention the newer batch have in terms of model and animation quality (including various forms and genders for certain PKMNs) I reckon it's worth the price if that is exactly what you want.

Oh god I remember when I was little we had a Halloween costume contest at school.
5 kids dressed up as Ash in my class including me.
