Hows it going boyos. I've been having this problem for nearly a year now and I only recentley deceided to fix it. I have a Philips television, the model number is: 32pfl7332 /10 So check that if you need to, but basically, when I hook up my Xbox 360 using the cables that come with it, I can change the settings to HD, and the quality is excellent, but there is no sound. So I was wondering if anybody would mind helping out? I'd appreciate it alot! Thanks guys.
Make sure the audio jacks are in the correct places, it should be colour coded. One yellow and one white. They're easy to mix up sometimes. [editline]03:34PM[/editline] Sorry, just looked again. The cable that came with the 360 should have more jacks that are Green, Blue and Red for HD. Try them.

Huh, never seen one need that? I'm not sure then, sorry. :frown:
Ah its cool buddy thanks. Any one else?
Does you 360 have the audio adapters or no? If your cord is the same as mine there should be 2 sets of 3 jacks that move down into one cord. On one set of three there should be a red, green, and blue cord; those are the HD video cords. On the other there should be a red, yellow, and white one; those are the standard video and two audio jacks (red and white).
Yeah it has those on one end, and the opposite end that connects to the 360 is boxy scart thing that you can change between TV and HDMI settings with.
On the picture you posted the red and white one should go into the two slots under the three HD jacks (red, green, blue ones). Red should go in the left slot and the white should go in the right slot. Tell me if this works as soon as you can.
