• Wireless card won't install

I have 2 wireless cards, and I wanted to install one to a new computer I got today (eMachines ET1831-01) and whenever I try and plug it in, even when installing the drivers, it says windows could not find drivers for USB2.0 WLAN. This happens on both cards no matter how many times I install/uninstall the drivers and software. I got so pissed I connected it to my router (it's accross thehouse from where it is set up and no I can't move it there) and let it search windows update, and to my surprise, same damn thing. I have tried downloading and manually installing the drivers, no luck. Tried the CD's too. Is there any way to fix this? [editline]10:23PM[/editline] Well, windows update has never been run on it (Windows 7 Home Premium x64), 43 updates, will post if it fixes itself
Find the location where the drivers installed, and direct the hardware manager to them manually. EDIT: Actually, make sure the drivers are compatible with x64 architecture. I had an old wireless card which only had 32-bit drivers, and it didn't work at all with Win7 x64.

If it worked/didn't work I will post
