Facepunch Background Dropbox v1 - Please God Let This Work

Hello! Due to some interest spotted in the Post Your Desktop thread, I've decided to go ahead and make this a thing!
What It Is
It is supposed to be a collaboration resource - a way to share backgrounds amongst members of Facepunch.
What You'll Need
Dropbox. If you don't know how to use Dropbox/what it is, I made a thread for it here.
If you want a program that will automatically change the background for you at a set interval, I recommend this background switcher, which I use. It has a lot of really good features.
How This Will Work
First off, you'll need to give me your dropbox username so I can add you to the folder.
From there, if you are using the background switcher, you can add whichever folders you want to pull backgrounds from.
After that, to be honest, I'm not totally sure yet. Dropbox won't let me prevent users from adding their own backgrounds. But that will result in a lot of backgrounds.
What we are going to TRY is people post ONE BACKGROUND HERE PER POST. Users vote (agree/disagree) on whether it goes in or not. If there isn't too many objections, I'll add it to an appropriate folder.
If this doesn't work out, I'll find something else.
Things to Remember
Please post high-resolution images as backgrounds. Minimum size should be 1024x768, but try and do bigger than that.
Also, post using img_thumb, so monitors aren't stretched.
PLEASE only do one image per post. If you have two or more images, its hard to vote.
Don't just add your backgrounds to the Dropbox folder. Doing so will result in you getting kicked out. Unless you apologize.
That's it! Start posting backgrounds!
Somebody once had a .zip of backgrounds. I have it and I have added mine into it.
Should I rezip it and post it here or not?

Go ahead and .zip it and send it to me in a PM. This'll be the only time I do a mass adding of backgrounds.
It's supposed to be a collab effort, with everybody getting input, but we'll need some backgrounds to get us started.
After this, just post one image at a time and we'll vote on 'em, yea?
Put the res and for what screens too maybe?
It is for dual 1280x1024 (5:4 ratio) screens.
Using this one at the moment.

Fucking love it
This may sound dumb but I have yet to get a clear question.
I have dual monitors of different resolution and would like to have one wallpaper spanding to both. What is the easiest/cost free way of achieving this?
Chop the picture into two pieces, and set each piece as an individual background for each screen.

it looks like this idea won't work out anyways, so you are welcome to it

I was expecting a Dropbox in which we all post our wallpaper folders. I can easily set one of those up if FP prefers.

I think that was me. :v:
I like this entire idea.
Here's a few I really like in an album. I don't want to clog this thread with single image posts.
An example of what that album is mostly full of:

STOP TRYING TO TAKE CREDIT FOR MY HARD WORK OF DOWNLOADING PICTURES GAHHHH
Anyway, I've removed and added a couple wallpapers to the pack I have. It's very 'nature-y' with some abstract and city pictures.

Oh right, there's going to be a lot of duplicates with the one Elements posted.

But what if people don't like the pictures posted?
That was the whole concept behind the voting procedures.

Boo hoo to them then, they don't have to download every wallpaper out the dropbox...

If its in Dropbox it automatically downloads
Thats how the service works :P
If you wanted to have them copy everything to their own folder on their computer, whats the difference between a dropbox folder and just an ordinary thread where we post backgrounds? Yea?

Some people might consider Pokemon a bit child-ish but for anyone who wants to nostalgia and also have some really cool alternative art on their screen, this is a pretty nifty wallpaper.
Size is 1920x1200

Talk about completely one-sided...
for anyone who wants to test it, I always have been a pretty big fan of 7chans wallpaper thread, excellently put together just gotta stay away from all the creepy shit on the site.

DisplayFusion.
IMO, this would take off if you'd sort common resolutions properly. I'm pretty picky about my wallpapers being the perfect size and I'd definitely subscribe to a 1080p folder, given the option.
