I've recently been trying to run the Ubuntu 9.10 live CD ISO on my Transcend 16GB Flash Drive, I've tested it in Virtualbox and it works great, but I only managed to get it running for real once, and now when I try to run it in either Live mode or Persistence mode, it gets past running the Cryptos drives and just either goes to a black screen or goes to a command-prompt type thing.
I changed the BIOS boot order so the mem stick is before the main HDD (I don't have support for USB booting so it shows up in the hard drive list) but I don't think the BIOS is the problem since I can actually get past the main menu.
Is there a way I can get this working again.
BTW the only ting I changed from when it worked was the persistence size (I increased it from 300MB to 1GB).

Never mind, it was because I was using the 64bit version and I have 32bit. :downswords:
Ok thanks for the link, i'll try it out.
I've been using LiLi USB Creator.
EDIT:
It didn't work. It eventually took my to a commandprompt like screen with lots of text.
