First decent article RPS has had in months.
If any of you haven't played Alice: Madness Returns yet, and enjoy third-person adventure games (with some puzzle elements), you really need to check this game out. The first 2-3 hours were lackluster as I'd been expecting crazy environments you could only imagine in a game like this, but later on, the levels get progressively outgoing and less tied-in with reality. There's literally a world where the entire place is falling apart with falling rocks everywhere, packed with an ominous sky and floating islands (which are also crumbling). Also, the application of Phsyx in this game is fantastic. You know what? I really loved that game. I'm going to play it again just to replay the level I'd mentioned. Oh, and before I forget, the game lasted just over 12 hours for my single playthrough.
