My cat, as he just demonstrated yet again, develops tiger strength whenever he knows someone in the house is eating ice cream. I just grabbed a bowl of ice cream, ran upstairs to my room with him trailing behind, and shut the door. The thing is..well, I have no lock and the door does not close properly due to the frame being unaligned. So I have to wedge things against it to keep it closed.
I pushed a 20 pound old stereo receiver and several other large objects against the door.
My cat pushed it right open and went right for the ice cream. Son of a bitch.
Aside from this, my cat sits on command.
I have a container of lego that sit behind my computer chair. My cat will go up and start digging through it to find that one piece he can play with.
Like seriously, he'll sit there for a good 30 minutes until he finds one piece that is really interesting to him, and then he'll proceed to carry it around the house.
Whenever anyone comes home, my dog starts howling and jumping around and shit.
We had a cat who would shit into the toilet and flush it.
My old cat used to play fetch. She would also meow every time you would look around a corner at her. :v:
The new one is odd, she lets literally anyone pet her belly, she's also calm as shit.
Oh, and my betta will come right up to you and let you pat him on his head sometimes.
My dog likes to lick my feet and she gets pissed and starts barking if I wear shoes around her.
My (now dead, brain tumor, last year) Corgi based mixed breed dog that i named Snoop, had somehow figured out that if he bit a piece of duct tape that was hanging loose from our back door(it was for weatherization) and pulled it, he could open the door.
I had no hand in teaching this to him, i just saw him do it one day and it blew me away.
Also i have a Tuxedo cat named Scooter that has this little black patch on his chin that resembles a goatee.
He likes to lay in the floor, but contorts his body in a way that makes it look like he had been cut in half, and half was sitting up, and the other half was laying down. He's also known for randomly doing a backflip and attacking my bare feet as i walk past.
His brother, Shadow, likes cake. Every time we have a birthday party or anything that you'd have a cake for, you need to cover it. He'll climb on it and eat it. He's also known for chasing people, just for fun.
My cat is a polydactyl, he's got thumbs
He can kinda grab things with them

Please do snap a photo of him chasing people around and eating cake. That would be glorious. Also, I'm sorry to hear about the passing of your dog :(
During the winter, condensation forms on my window. My cat will walk up to the window and begin licking off the moisture that forms on it.

I would, but it would be hard to get a good photo of Shadow chasing people, he's pretty spontaneous. He usually only chases my mother, but i only saw him do it once.
my shrimp walk around
I have this little kitty who will climb up me - sit on my shoulders, and chew on my hair. I also have a fatass cat who will eat weird things like watermelon, zucchini quiche and pizza (he's fat coz he has a thyroid problem).

My dad has a a parrot who tries to sing this song:

my cat always forgets to put his tongue back in his mouth
he just walks around normally with it hanging halfway out like an idiot
Growls and has a fit whenever I hug it
Our rabbit doesn't like cages, he gets to walk around in our back yard. He's got his own mat he shits on. He had a 'home' that was meant to let him go in there, but he never did. Instead he'd always lie on top of it, so we put his food basket there.
This one night we find a dead rat near his food basket. Turns out he crushed the rat because it was trying to eat his food.
He'll chase pigeons and watch them fly away, he likes the laundry pole, where he can sit all day and stare at it with his nose against it. He likes bicycles and the garage. Any chance he gets to quickly get into the garage, he'll use. He also growls when he doesn't like something.
When we put him on the bed, he'll try to dig the bed or something, it's very weird.
One time my dog rolled over and played dead... That was a month ago and he still is playing dead... {:)
my guinea pigs used to anally buttfuck eachother constantly back when we still had them
oldest cat got knocked on the head by a car so and now he makes love to everyone and everything
my dogs dont fuckin dare to touch food when im around, it all belongs to me until I say so
I once saw my dog push a chair around to get to some food I left on the table but that's it.
My old cat used to reach up when he thought no one was looking(table in question is kind of low to the floor), feel around and upon feeling where fries were, pull some down for himself. He also somehow could open the bedroom door when it was locked, which is saying something as he wasn't a jumper and the lock was not in his reach.
Our male cat will just walk around our apartment until he finds a chill place, then he just falls over to either side like he's dropping dead. He proceeds to roll over on his back with hes paws straight up, then he falls asleep, and stays like that unti he wakes up again.
Our puppy finds dirty laundry more interesting than her toys sometimes... dumb bitch.
one of my cats behaves like a dog. looves to be around us and starts purring the second you touch him. really lovely cat.
My dog goes to the restroom and shits on the carpet. Nowhere else.
He knows what a restroom is. thats pretty rad.
My cat starts miaowing at the door the moment she hears either me or another family member (not anybody else) in the stairwell of the apartment block.
Also terrified of lightning before it even starts; at the moment of typing this, it's only raining and she's hiding under the sofa.
My cat steals any type of pencil, pen, marker then hides them underneath the rug for someone to step on.
My dog will instantly crawl into the crate whenever we yell it.
She actually would do that RIGHT when we got her, so I guess her previous owner taught her to do it.
occasionally, my cat goes to lsd mode and starts chasing after invisible creatures with his eyes totally black and ears swept back while emitting weird growls.
When my cat purrs, he'll climb onto my shoulders and lick my ears. He learned how to open our doors. He can turn on my light (it's fucking annoying when I'm trying to sleep). Also, same as GamerChick's cat, he likes to meow at you when you stare at him from around a corner. We call it hide & seek with the cats, and it's stupidly fun :v:

Oh, I almost forgot one. I've posted this before, but he also likes to prank us. If we stop petting him for a bit, he'll return a few minutes later to cull us into petting him again. Only this time, his head is completely soaked and he just looks at us with a shit-eating glare that says, "That's what you get, motherfucker."
