Just a quick question. I'm have MW2 for my Xbox 360, but I'm thinking of getting for my PC/MacBook to play it when my roommate is playing my Xbox 360 and for when I got to my parents house on the weekends (the price of the game won't been an issue since I can get it for $19.99 by trading in Halo 3 and Call of Duty: World at War at Gamestop, good deal too since I'm done with both games) I know that the MacBook would probably be able to run it on low/medium setting at a lower resoltution judging by some videos I have seen. But what I am more curious about is my desktop. Important specs: Intel Core 2 Duo E6400 2.13ghz (apparently it OCs well on stock so I may OC) ATI 4670 512mb GDDR3 4gb DDR2
can run it on medium-low
can run it on medium-low
that doesn't sound too bad. has anyone played the PC version? and if so, is it worth getting a second copy for back up/on the go MW2 since it's only $19.99 USD?
Single Player is short and Multiplayer sucks
Close thread please, I just realized the deal applies to L4D2 on the PC, and I'm gonna get that instead because it's awesome and I can play it at max settings at 1440x900 at 50+ fps judging by the demo.

4670 kicks 9400m in the ass and in its mom's ass.
did you even read the question? and also the question now not even a question. I'm getting L4D2 instead. close thread please, thread is now dead.
don't get a mac if you plan to do anything for business or academic
read the op PLEASE! I already own both computers and once again an useless answer to a dead question....

The HD 4670 would play on High @ 1280x1024 pretty smoothly. It's the equivalent of 9600 GT.
well, that's good to know. I've decided I'll just get both games. pay $20 for MW2 and full price for L4D2 since I rather give most of my money to Valve instead of Activision.
can run it on medium-low
just remember that medium-low on pc is higher than default xbox graphics.
just remember that medium-low on pc is higher than default xbox graphics.
really? because the Xbox graphics actually look pretty damn good, imo
just remember that medium-low on pc is higher than default xbox graphics.
Nah, more like high-medium with AA turned off / low
Nah, more like high-medium with AA turned off / low
not really, I just checked and some textures are just awful/gross. I would guess probably all setting are medium with no AA and a pretty high resolution.
So its gonna be basically better looking, and maybe a few more fps. Well saying that you set it on low/med, and not trying to play on high.
