I am building this for a friend, he already has a keyboard, mouse, monitor, now all he needs in the computer. Haha. So anyway thats why i come to this thread. He wants to be able to play Skyrim MAX settings and maby WOW. I know that hes a Nvidia person so a graphics card made by them would be ideal. If you guys could help that would be great. Thanks in advance! :=D
In this section it's generally expected that you do some work yourself and attempt to select some parts before asking.
In any case I'd help but I don't have any time. But you won't need too powerful of a computer to run Skyrim max, don't go higher than an i5 2500K and a GTX 560.

You shouldn't have to spend more than $750.
See the thing is i dont have any idea what im doing. So i would but idk what im looking for.
If you truly have no idea, look into a prebuilt. It's not too hard to spend ten hours on Wikipedia finding out, though.

And we can help you because we're friendly
Thing is prebuilts are 984710823741892734 times more expensive then building one, by ones self.

Newegg has a tutorial:

Tek Syndicate does too:

If you follow the manuals and these tutorials, you should be fine.

What is the max resolution your friends monitor can reach?
Don't listen to Naaz, listen to Wickedplayer's advice to build it yourself. It's pretty easy and it's actually enjoyable to do.

True that, but the uncut version of the 7850 hovers around $190-$200.

This build could be made a lot faster. Reposting from your other thread in general discussion

The video card has a $10 mail-in rebate. This build should get about 60FPS in Skyrim at 1080p with 4xAA, especially if you overclock the 7850 a bit more. This build will be quite a bit faster than Evilan's.

Not really. This used to be true in the past, but prices are quite competitive now.
Hey zero, care to explain how posting a superior build is dumb?
Meant to rate late cause I thought he already bought the parts. Might not be the case though.

DrBreen said he was picking up a 7850 for 145€ after suggesting the OP get one (I included one in my build), but the OP still hasn't responded about buying anything yet.

Derp, the threads only 10 hours old... I'm thinking of something else.
Ah shit, forgot about those Newegg videos. Yeah, follow their advice.
I think im going to go woth mblunks build. Bit I am deffinatly going to educate my self with those videos. Thank you guys this is great
Looks like that hard drive just shot up from $70 to $100, you should probably check to see if there's a better deal, or you could get an SSD (WAY faster but smaller) like this one: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820239374
Don't get your hopes up for under 150 dollar 7850's though, some may have voltages VRM locked, which is the case with my card, can't get past 1050/1250, if you're an oc enthusiast might as well grab a better 7850 model for 20 extra bucks, still, i came from an HD 4850 and iget twice the performance in all games, however this card does not like AA at all
