• Soundcard won't autodetect with Vista

As in the title, I put in a new sound card, and it worked, but I reinstalled windows vista with a fresh copy, and now my PC doesn't realize that there's a new soundcard. Once, I got close, except it came up as unonown hardware, and when I try to run my driver CD, I can only look through folders, not really anything to "run" any help will be greatly appreciated.
Link to soundcard please, and make sure it's plugged in correctly.
[url]http://us.startech.com/product/PCISOUND4LP-4-Channel-PCI-Sound-Adapter-Card-AC97-3D-Audio-Effects[/url] I guess this is it, and it's plugged in correctly. [editline]4th January 2011[/editline] It's really just meant to be temporary, I'd like to get a better PC sooner or later.
You tried the download on that page?
Just download the manufacturer's drivers.
I have the CD, and the card is almost brand new, but i'll try it. [editline]4th January 2011[/editline] I guess that fixed it, it had an installation .exe that my CD didn't apparently, thanks a lot guys.
