so, what do you guys think of this build ?
he don't need a cpu becaus i could give im one, a core2duo e6850 @ 3.0ghz
What you've put together there is good, apart from the motherboard. The processor you're giving him is rubbish to today's standards. He's better off getting a new one.
Try http://www.newegg.ca it should save you some cash.

Yeah, that one's better.
That case is shit, get an Antec 300.
Use newegg, it's cheaper
-snip-
down
Newegg reigns supreme.
Thanks for your help guys! really
i took a look at newegg and it not cheaper, at all.
It usually is, and if the individual items are more expensive, it makes up for it by having shit loads of combos.
I got it with a better case, better PSU, and a good CPU all cheaper than what tigerdirect gave you. :c00l:
CPU/MoBo = http://www.newegg.ca/Product/ComboDealDetails.aspx?ItemList=Combo.254388
RAM = http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231277
GPU = http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814150436
DVD Drive = http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822136320
PSU = http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817371015
Case = http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811129042
HDD = http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822136320
Before shipping and tax. Keep that in mind. You can save some on it by removing that CPU/MoBo combo and getting a LGA 775 MoBo.
your ram is almost twice as much
[editline]01:11PM[/editline]
and no amd, don't know a thing about them, and he don't know shit about anything about pc
[editline]01:17PM[/editline]
