Was on this topic with a friend Name some things that are a punishment for kids but is a reward for an adult. For example, going bed early
Spankings
Drinking soap
naptime
Getting shouted at by your parents (more likely your father if you're a boy) for not doing your chores properly. It amused me when he got angry.
going to your room
Sitting on a chair and doing absolutely nothing for a while.
Spankings
I was going to go on a darker route in a similar vein, but let's leave it at that.
drinking a highball glass full of bourbon and smoking a whole pack of cigarettes
I used to hate broccoli as a kid and would refuse to eat it unless covered in dressing. I wouldn’t consider them a “reward” now but I definitely like them a lot more.
alone time
Kids vs. Adults sportsball games.
Visiting relatives. Kids typically dislike it most of the time due to lack of entertainment and such. Where as most of the time adults appreciate spending time with distant family.
Getting clothes for Christmas. As a kid: Bitch please, you were going to give me this shit anyway. I wasn't on the verge of going to school naked until Christmas rolled around. It's not really a present if you're obligated to buy me this shit if you don't want CPS beating down your door. As an adult: Oh thank you so much, not only am I saving money, I also get to hold off going to the store for clothes for 6-8 more months!
Waiting in the car while someone else does the grocery shopping for you.
Suicide when you get older, you get to see how shit everything really is
Your presence here is shit, so there.
getting a face full of ass
Suicide when you get older, you get to see how shit everything really is
I'm not suicidal, but with how I've felt for the past couple of months, I cannot despise your attitude enough. Get out, please.
Suicide when you get older, you get to see how shit everything really is
Umm suicide of others around you is much worse as an adult. I'm speaking from experience. Please get help. Your friends and family might not understand why you're getting help, but its better then them wishing you had gotten help for the rest of their lives. [editline]3rd March 2018[/editline]
Your presence here is shit, so there.
I don't want to make you feel bad, but this isn't the way to deal with people like that. Don't make them feel bad about themselves because they already do enough [editline]3rd March 2018[/editline]
I'm not suicidal, but with how I've felt for the past couple of months, I cannot despise your attitude enough. I just wish people were more understanding because it sucks when you lose someone close to you from suicide. [editline]3rd March 2018[/editline] Ok Im gonna contribute to the thread. Not having to drive. As a kid I hated riding in a car for long distances, but as an adult I hate being the one driving during long trips.
You too
No it’s fine. It’s not his fault I said something really dumb that I seriously shouldn’t have. If anyone ought to get flak, it’s me.

You said something stupid, but that also hinted at that you might be suicidal, they shouldn't have been so quick to cast you out, and rather should've tried to have a pleasant convo with you about it like decent human beings. For me cleaning. I use to hate to clean the house as kid, because for my ma everyday was spring cleaning. She'd clean the house from top to bottom, vacuum, mop etc etc, each and everyday. Now living on my own with my girlfriend, I find myself cleaning the house alot more because it's my time to just be in my zone and chill.
