Receding Testicle - Anything to be concerned about/has it happened to anyone else?

I'm a 20 year old male, this hasn't happened before.

I was in the middle of doing my thing, and my right testicle suddenly disappeared. It often sits high while I have an erection (right specifically, left is lower - but as I understand it this is common?), but it's never actually 'gone back in' before (unless I haven't noticed, obviously if I'm having sex with someone then I can't check they're both hanging - although she might have noticed, but it's never been mentioned if they did).

I had a mini-freakout while I processed a testicle had just disappeared (like what the fuck how does it just disappear?!), before I noticed the lump in my groin. I lightly pressed it, but it wasn't moving and I was too concerned about using any force to force it more. After standing up for a little while it simply 'fell' back out.

There was never any pain or discomfort, although I guess they were a little sore the next day (probably unrelated, I went for a massive walk in jeans and probably constrained them a little).

I did Google it at the time, and it *seemed* to be something that wasn't an issue assuming it wasn't happening a heap, but well, has this happened to anyone else before?

happened to me once when i was little, doctor said it happens sometimes and not to be concerned about it.

That's pretty normal, they can easily go inside if they contract enough.

Yeah, when I used to go to swim practice and change out I'd always notice my balls "breathing" – meaning they were doing what you're describing both ways.

Yeah I think if it's stuck in there for over a day you gotta get it checked out
Also if there's pain go to the doctor asap
