Expensive yes, but then again it's not something everyone is going to buy.
They have a small target audience, and they still have to earn money.

It is exclusively geared towards blind people, and is probably a lot easier to use without visual feedback.

I say [I]probably[/I] because I've never owned a smartphone. I have no idea how Siri or that Google thing works.
