• Buy a REFURBISHED iPod Touch 32gb 3rd gen?

So I have REALLY wanted an iPod Touch for a while now, and saw this on apple.com http://store.apple.com/us/product/FC008LL/A?mco=MTg5MTczMDg So I'm thinking I might be able to grab a new, refurbished iPod, and save $70. Does anyone have any experience with this?
Refurbished ones are fine, you can't even tell the difference between refurbished and brand new, I've been buying refurbished ones for a while.... Great way to save money... People are just weird "It's second hand" blah blah blah... you wouldn't notice it was refurbished if I gave you one and told you it was new.
I bought a refurbished iPod Classic 80gig a few years back, and I kinda regret it. It suddenly deleted most of my songs and wouldn't sync or fix itself through iTunes. I got a replacement through Apple after struggling with for a few months, then immediately sold it and bought a Zen X-fi.
You put together two words that contradict each other: "A new, refurbished iPod, ..." How can it be new and refurbished?
Refurbished is the same deal as new things, and sometimes it's better. Saved 50$ on my ipod touch a while ago, and saved 550$ on my laptop by buying them refurb.

If you gave a refurbished model and a brand new, fresh off the factory line model to a technician, they wouldn't be able to tell the difference. At least, that's the idea.
