there's never been such a thing as "anonymous."
it's merely a name that any group of people can use if they want to remain, you guessed it, anonymous.
Do a lot of them meet on 4chan? Yeah, a lot of them do. Do their actions represent the entirety of 4chan? nope.
Anonymous is a group. A group of people who are anonymous.
