• Building a computer

I'm tired of trying to game on a laptop, and I've recently gotten some money so I'm wanting to build a computer. Basically it's not like I need to play like Crysis on highest settings on anything but something with that kind of power would be nice. I'm mostly going to be playing stuff like CS:S, Gmod, KF, Fallout 3, maybe L4D2, and all that stuff on highish to high settings. I'm just tired of playing on low-normal settings with lag and all that. Monitor, keyboard, and OS are covered. So my budget is about 500$, but I could go a little over. Heres what I have so far: http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboDealDetails.aspx?ItemList=Combo.308544 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820141240 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811147117 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822136073 Comes out to about 342$ Can you guys help me find a Video Card? And also I don't know much about the drives so just a good one. Also tell me what changes I should make(especially the mobo/cpu), but keep the budget in mind please. Thanks

I don't know what kind of card you like (ATI or Nvidia). If you are using AMD MOBO, go for ATI and if you are using Intel,go for Nvidia. GPU I suggest that the games you want to play, ATI HD 5850 or 275 GTX. I dunno its up to you.

You can use an ATI card with on a intel mobo and a Nvidia card on a amd mobo.
