Criterion please stop.
You're limitting yourself so much by making these shitty NFS titles. Most Wanted was horrendously repetitive and Hot Pursuit was boring as shit.
Go back to Burnout, please?
Stop trying.

Hot pursuit was fucking awesome.
Hot pursuit was great. It had it's bullshit moments sometimes but I though it was really great, especially if you were playing it with a bunch of friends.
No comment on NFS: MW 2013 though.
Oh really? After I uninstalled that piece of shit mw I'd love to rage on this one too.
Really you need to buy a bunch of dlc just to drive a few shitty cars for a few seconds what is this joke. on mw 2005 I got every car and shit from the get go.

Hot Pursuit was brilliant but Most Wanted was just okay.

I don't see how car pack DLCs are an issue. They were added after the game was released. Hell, you don't even need to drive them. You can beat the game only using a fraction of the cars it actually gives you.

Most Wanted was essentially Burnout Paradise 2 (and it was cool as heck). They did a lot of things right with Most Wanted which if another developer was doing it probably wouldn't happen, and Criterion alone are making the NFS series interesting again

I felt like it was sort of a watered down burnout paradise. I look at Burnout Paradise and it's world and it's cars seem to have a style to them, like it's not serious at all set in a parody world. Burnout paradise both played well and had it's charm. Most Wanted 2012 removed the charm and some of the more extreme elements of burnout paradise, like the barrel rolls and most of the crazyass jumps.
Most Wanted 2012 certainly wasn't a bad game. It could have been more though. I want a real burnout paradise 2 with it's fake-but-real cars, it's crazyass jumps, and give us the improvements and social features of Most Wanted 2012 like having player icons on billboards and scoreboards fuckin everywhere. Say what you want about social features, but it's badass being able to compete for little things like speed traps and jump distances.
And for the love of god bring back DJ Automica.
