Pretty good game from what I've played. I thought it was shit at first, what with all the videos showing how some animations and characters look bad, but once I rented it I found that everything else seems to make up for such a small part of the game. There are some visual glitches here and there but to be honest it's nothing to get ruffled up about. I'd say for that price it's a good time waster.
fyi I haven't played any other dragon age game or many open-world rpgs, so I don't have any bias for the developer or anything like that.
Can't be arsed to be honest, just gonna wait for The Witcher 3.
Some animations are still a bit bioware-y, but I think visually it's impressive as hell and really really fun. I've already sunk over 60 hours into this game and I am still not done.
It's okay. Better than 2, that's for sure. Some annoying characters here and there, "quality BioWare Animation" and dialog whell problems. The Open World has some navigation problems, and everything is kinda pointed out for you, which really diminish the exploration. I also found it to be a short game, considering that most of the game is just walking around finding letters on corpses and completing the quest those letters give you. The combat suffered from a bit of a power creep.
But it has good characters, the story is ok~ish and the MC is not "I WANNA BE A DRAGON XD". I liked how they used in-game questions to refine your backstory, like "Are you parents religious?" and such.
I hope the game gets better when the patch comes out and I also hope they don't take that long to finish the patch.
I'm enjoying it, however, I have a few quirks about it.
Facial animations and general animation quality is awful, the quests sometime turn into completely awful *kill 10 deers" types of quests. And stuff like hair are some of the worst I've ever seen.

If you turn your graphics down the hair looks like Play Mobil.
