In other words, games where you can say it's your fault you failed. I'd like to know more games which are virtually bug-free when it comes to gameplay. Some games that would fit this category would be Super Meat Boy and They Bleed Pixels. Probably a game that would /sometimes/ be the game's fault due to a small lack of precision control would be Catherine. (I'm personally looking for games on-par with Super Meat Boy in terms of difficulty but post whatever fits the above criteria)
Skate 3
I kinda disagree about They Bleed Pixels. I mean, I thought it was good overall but there a few parts that just felt unfair to me. Maybe I just suck. I can definitely agree with Super Meat Boy though. I would say Dustforce might fit the criteria.

Hotline Miami Usually.
Mark of the Ninja. Impatience is the main reason I get spotted in that game. Also, Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory. I don't remember getting frustrated at that game.
sniper ghost warrior on that level where you randomly take damage
Dead Rising
God Hand Pretty hard game, but it's always your fault when you die.
Any game with auto aim. Firing/Aiming at a punk and another walks in front so my game decides to follow them for a bit and screw my aim up.
Sonic 06, Its the games fault, its mine for being an idiot and even trying to play it.
The sims 'Didn't want to die in a fire? Well too bad you shouldn't have made a sandwich then!'
The original Castlevania games, as hard as they are, are completely doable if you just consider the situation and deal with it properly.
Mount and Blade, the combat system against the hardest opponents follow the rule: "The mistake of your foe is your success", literally.
Frozen Synapse, no bullshit there, the most that can happen is the enemy spawning behind you in pre-programmed times.
Pretty much any turn based strategy game.
Dark Souls. If you die, it's your fault for sucking at the game.
Dark Souls. If you die, it's your fault for sucking at the game.
Unless you play PvP against a Brazilian with 600 ping spamming dark magic
Mount & Blade for sure. I just love a combat system that you actually have to practice to become good at. Disagree? well maybe I'm retarded I guess, but it took a while to get used to how complex it actually is.
Chess
any fucking game that makes you die to learn that something is going to kill you
rayman origins?
Chess
I dunno, sometimes it glitches out and nobody wins!
I think Terraria. It seems pretty solid so far, and the only times I've died are when I misjudged something or wasn't paying attention to my health. I need to start making buff potions.
Chess
It's still got that one bug where the table flips over on your opponent and you have to reset the whole thing And call an ambulance

Suddenly, Skeletor. Or alternatively, "Hmm, this thing seems to go down, I'm going to follow it." Dungeon Guardian with 99999 HP comes flying at you for not killing Skeletor.
Red Orchestra 2. Not 100% bug free, but if you fail it's mostly your fault :v
Super MNC. Mid-air grapples. Turrets having massive range or very low range. Slow effects that lasts 10 seconds on you, but lasts only 2 seconds on other players. Anyways, sometimes it's your fault. You have to thing before using skills. People can (and they will) gank you. Also any stun effect can be a pain in the ass.
