-snip- His enthusiasm is like he is talking about a gum stuck on his shoe. I know the laptop is nothing really special, but c'mon.
Wow, the guy completely missed that the screen is actually a touchscreen and supports the Surface Pen too. I bet he is not even aware of it. Also his enthusiasm is like he is talking about a gum stuck on his shoe. I know the laptop is nothing really special, but c'mon.
"The gorgeous screen supports touch and pen input, though the pen is not included in the box." C'mon dude, read the article.
"The gorgeous screen supports touch and pen input, though the pen is not included in the box." C'mon dude, read the article.
Damn it, you are right. I watched the whole video and then read the paragraph about the screen and even made a search for "Surface Pen". Still, should have talked about it in the video too.
Honestly, it's just a marginally overpriced laptop. The touchscreen isn't all too impressive considering there's no 360 degree hinge (no point writing on that thing). At this point, you can get a MacBook with better specs for the same price, which is kind of depressing. Hell, you could find i7/8GB laptops from basically any PC OEM for that price. Hell, you can get a SP4 at the same specs for way cheaper, and it includes W10 and a pen. (And then there's the joke that is W10 S, of course.) If they included a better hinge I would have considered it (along the lines of the XPS 13 2in1 - I still have a fetish for convertibles ever since they came into existence) but at this point the only reason to buy one of these is if you really have a hard-on for Microsoft's support, which is very good but not enough of a reason to bother. The only reason this exists is to try to claw away a little more at MacBook buyers, which most of us aren't. I was honestly waiting for a Surface 5 announcement but no go, I guess.
