Every single time I visit wikipedia.org my connection cuts out.
Has been happening for the past two weeks, didn't think about it until just a few minutes ago.
I opened Wikipedia.org and tried searching for "Voxels". It didn't react to my enter key being pressed so I went to the English wikipedia and tried searching there. It lead me to the article but shortly afterwards my internet cut out, followed by explorer freezing. So I hit reset and while it was booting it gave me a BSoD, it booted up fine after that though.
Currently scanning for viruses(Avast!), spyware scan came out clean(Spybot).
I doubt it's a virus causing it, since it did this pretty much directly after my last format(~2 weeks ago).
Anyone got any idea what's going on?
Avast! didn't find anything as well

I can't let you learn that, Deruu.
Does it happen to other sites as well? And at what time "rate"? Have you updated your drivers at ALL?
Only wikipedia as far as I know. It happens every time, it loads the page/article and then instantly cuts out my internet. I can usually reconnect by restarting the local area network.
And yep all drivers should be up to date
Oh wow that sucks..
Did you try reaching wikipedia in another browser?
Maybe something got fucked up in your standard one.
X:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc
rename Host to lol or something
Delete Host back ups
Try wikipedia
oh wow I loled hard at that shit.
Referring to the hal900.
Like scientist said, try another browser.
And forgive me for asking, but are you referring to explorer.exe or internet explorer when you say "explorer freezing"?

Hosts file is clean, was the first thing I checked

Tried visiting with Firefox again, internet cut out for a few seconds
wikipedia hates you
I just formatted again(I missed Win7), it's still doing it. It'll load one wiki page, then my connection dies.
You didn't donate so wikipedia is mad at you

at least thats my formed hypothesis
Man, that's weird...
Turns out it was my router, connected directly to my modem and it's loading fine now(can't believe I didn't think about doing that earlier).
Any idea why my router would suddenly start going nuts over me visiting Wikipedia? I haven't changed any settings recently
Either Firefox is fucking up, or Wikipedia is broken.
Okay let me scrap that, New router. Or stay connected through the eithernet cable.
DNS servers can be a real bitch.
