• A good antivirus program?

Hello all. My subscription to Norton (which actually isn't all too bad anymore) which came with my new rig is about to end, and I need a good program to pick up the slacks. Do you guys know of any good programs? I have MalwareBytes to clean up malware so that's not an issue so much. Thanks for your time.
I use Microsoft Security Essentials. That, combined with Common Sense 2011 is unstoppable. [editline]26th January 2011[/editline] http://www.microsoft.com/security_essentials/
Though everyone has preferences you really can't go wrong with Avast, Comodo, or MSE. I prefer Comodo, though.
Microsoft Security Essentials is pretty swell for being free. Nod32 is the best paid solution I've seen.
I recommend MSE or Avast.
Comodo
McAfee
Avast, Commodo, MSE. Choose 1 Also get Spybot S&D and Malwarebytes.
I have used Avira classic in the past until it started getting annoying. Then switched to MSE, which was fairly decent. Not too intrusive, at least. But I couldn't be bothered to install an AV nor firewall on my current machine. I know what I'm doing, I know what's going on with my PC and I'm the only one using it, so why not?
Comodo. That and Common Sense make you virtually invincible.
I have used AVG for years and never had a problem with it. I have never heard a bad word about it, but then again I don't know who uses AVG other than my family.
Avast!

I use Comodo and Malware Bytes. Hardly ever need them either.
I use Avast for antivirus, Comodo for firewall, and SpyHunter4 & Malwarebytes for malware/spyware.
I'm using Avast at the moment. Hasn't failed me yet.
Comodo is pretty stunning. I've never acquired a virus with it and it doesn't hog memory like most other antivirus software, Avast was bollocks when I had actually a virus since it would not remove it at all.
Webroot spy sweeper is terrible it has failed me many times.
SpyBot Search And Destroy is great at finding and removing things, but only if you start it manually, because it doesn't do idle scans or any of that stuff.
I got rid of SBSD since it bugged me too much whenever I installed something, and it bugged me too much whilst I was programming.
I personally use MSE, but I've never had any problems with any antivirus, it's personal preference (To a certain extent).
For my part, MSE all the way. Avast! is good too, thought it's been some time since I used it.
Ever since I've started using MSE I haven't been looking back probably because it doesn't bother me when I don't want it, which Norton or McAfee did quite alot. Avast has worked good as well, but I just prefer MSE. Never used Comodo but people seem to be quite positive about it.
If you browse safely and only visit trusted sites, you shouldn't need anything extreme. If you're the kind of guy who looks at porn from every website possible you should probably get something extreme.
Gee, I haven't seen this question asked here a million times.
