Better late than never. Especially when QLoc did an amazing job with fixing the game.
I still can't shake off the feeling that they're only doing this to build up hype for Injustice 2 before properly announcing it for PC. I think it would be more prudent to skip MKXL entirely and wait for I2 to release. If it suffers from the same release problems as MKX, expect the game to be abandoned 6 months after release.

Yeah, they got rid of High Voltage. I don't know whether QLoc fixed High Voltage's shit or just started their own port from scratch, but it's really damn good now.

It might be a bit late but MKXL is a free update (KP2 is about $10, and MKX is about $5 on G2A), and it actually makes MKX work online without insane input lag or frame drops.
Its likely that MKX will not see any real patches from now on anyway, but the game has been out a year and a half and they are moving on with Injustice 2 which will tide people over til MKXI comes out.
They may have been trying to fix their image in time for Injustice 2, but that isn't necessarily a bad thing. At least they care enough in the first place to fix their mess (Even if it did take quite a long time), rather than just leaving it then going for another awful port of Injustice 2. If they went to this length to get MKX working on PC then I have some faith Injustice 2 will have a good port, and if not all this effort will have been for nought as they will be shooting themselves in both feet.
If they think this is going to make me buy IJ2, they have quite lost their goddamn minds.
Fuck WBG.
When they start putting devs and consumers first, I'll start considering their product again.

If they get QLoc to do it we should be fine port wise, really High Voltage who were the original dev that ported it have fucked up so many times before im surprised they got them to touch mkx at all.

I'm hoping it's just them finally learning from their mistake of using fucking High Voltage for every PC port.
