Halo1 PC has corrupt .cab (if you own this game help me out!)

I've been wanting to install Halo 1 PC and CE for a while now, but I can't ever get it installed because Cab6.CAB has some corrupted files. If this is against the rules, then please tell me so. I am not looking to acquire this game illegally, as [b]I own the game legally, key and all[/b] (and can provide proof of this) if needed. I just need someone to copy Cab6.CAB off and upload it for me to get so I can complete my installation. The disk can get to 93% and then just fails so I've got no other option, and I'm not going to pay money, no matter how little, to get another CD just for a few files needing to be fixed.

I can set it all up myself to install so I just need this and then I'm set.

If you need to know how to get the file off then put in your cd there heres a really simple tutorial:

Put in your disk
Open winrar/7zip/other app
navigate to your disk drive, usually D:\
Go to FilesCab\
Copy off/extract Cab6.CAB

Make sure it's still the CAB file and that you didn't decompress it on accident, please! Would save me a bit of time.

tl;dr
I own H1PC legally and want you to give me Cab6.CAB from your disk, if you own it because mine is borked.

I had this issue before with Cab3 because of a scratch in that area, it failed to install from the CD but if I simply dragged and dropped the files to my desktop and installed from there, it worked fine.

Reinstall, fully update it, after updating it to the full extent, you no longer need the CD.

If you can't even install it...get a new disc or return the current one and exchange it for another one.

Not buying a new disk to replace one cab. I also can't extract the corrupted files. [b]FUCK YOU LONGEST.MAP![/b] That and a few others (these ones aren't .maps) are corrupt. If anyone has the cd lying around I would name my babies after you if you gave me that cab :buddy:

I don't have it installed. If I did I wouldn't have this problem. I know you can play it already installed if you have the disk (That's how it was a few years ago on my shit prefab).

Thank you! It installed! Loading it up for a quick test. Then I'm going to burn it all to a disk and keep a compressed file of it all backed up. Now I get to try out lightscribe :dance:

I noticed that it only changes the menu and nothing else, same with gmod, tf2 and other games I have, I change the resolution and it only changes the opening credits and sometimes the menu.
