Looks intriguing, if it comes out as advertised we could have something grand here.
That's already hoping for too much
It's fun to dream though, is it not?
Mind you last time I did that about a game was Spore.
I'm frothing. I just want one of these games to come out.
I'm thinking it might be a salvage op game like the new Homeworld: Shipbreakers.
It would make sense as it would use a good portion of the game's content such as the underwater or land content as oppose to sitting in your ship all day.
We have the technology, we can build it.
Don't get your hopes up guys, it's only made by a 4 man team

And it's procedurally generated. That get's rid of a ton of content creation by making it so it's generated on the fly. 4 dudes on a team can pretty easily build a massive game if they write enough procedural algorithms for generating content.

Noctis was made by one person in the early 00's in C and Assembly and had a very similar premise (albeit more exploration-based).
I like everything about this except the MMO prospect. If there's no option for private servers, and there's microtransactions or a subscription, then fuck that.

Unless they meet everything they promise on release, it's going to crash. Remember Cubeworld? That made a ton of promises that it couldn't keep simply because the development team was too small to cope.
This game has me interested, but I'm not expecting it to do great when it comes out.
