Is it just me or does that last screenshot have a very similar hud to Xcom:EU?
it seems like all of his points are "wow what a bad game it has bugs wtf"
The devs are really active in the Steam community forum which is nice. They are taking all their criticism well and are planning on lots of content updates and patching. What people don't realize is the developer paid a lot of money to Games Workshop in order to license Space Hulk. That partially explains the higher-than-expected price, but it also explains why they can't add all this extra content people were expecting because it's out of the scope of the Space Hulk license. They can't even add blood ravens from what I've heard. The gameplay is ok once you get around some quirks, and it does have the table-top feel to it. One thing I have a love/hate relationship with is the redo button. It allows you to undo a mistake you made on your turn (say you moved a unit one space too short). What it also does is lets you redo 1 combat move (your turn only, not the enemies'), so if you spent AP attacking a genestealer in close-combat and your unit died, you can actually undo the combat. That itself doesn't seem terribly unbalanced but what is broken is the fact it will re-roll your dice if you undo a combat and perform the combat again. Once the bug-fixing patch comes out, more campaign is added, and the level editor for custom missions is released I think it will be a lot more enjoyable. I am having a lot of fun with it as it is, so I'm optimistic for the game to evolve and improve. The developers could of just taken their money and ran with it, but instead they have a humble attitude and acknowledge that the game isn't perfect.
Thanks all - we have really really tried to crack all bugs prior to launch, but its not until you have it out in the hands of all of you that we find the more annoying ones. Trust us - we want to continue support for a looooong time. Not just promise something and run away. But trust is earned, and thus we are working hard to do that.
http://steamcommunity.com/app/242570/discussions/0/864976115213614512/#c864976115216641840

If anything I really want to play Space Hulk the board game now.
If you're still on the fence about buying it, I'd actually wait until it's on sale. By then the game should be more polished with more content and you'd get it for a steal.
