My mouse feels slippery, I cannot aim in FPS properly either.

So, This mouse I have feels slippery. Even when its not, and its on a mouse pad. I cannot accurately move my mouse from Point A to point B without missing point A. For example, if I want to click on the "read" icon on Facepunch I'll either get just below or or just above it on my first try at clicking on it. When I adjust my sensitivity it feels really slow and it tires my arm just to use my mouse so I have to keep it high so it will be useable. I cannot aim in any FPS either because I often feel as if I cannot move my mouse smoothly to a target or else I will miss it so I have to press really hard on my mouse and inch it over to the target. If I lower my sensitivity in-game it takes my entire mouse pad just to do one rotation. Im using a Logitech UAE96 by the way. I had to get a new mouse after my 60 dollar one broke.
mouse acceleration or or what

What?
turn mouse acceleration off (I think it's Enhance Pointer Precision in mouse options)
or vsync if you have that on

Enhance pointer precision is already off. I think Im fucked, because I just completed a game of Counter-Strike on sensitivity 3 and got a decent k/d ratio. I guess Im doomed to low sensitivity rates.

Meh, I guess I'll have to upgrade my mouse. The last mouse I had was a Logitech Performance MX.
3 is low...? Lower sensitivities are better anyways.

When I had my MX I played at 15 in CS
At was DPI? 200? Seriously, I use 3 and it's pretty much average, on a 400 DPI mouse - I used to use .75 @ 1600 DPI.
I usually use 1 with 1600 DPI or 3 with 800 DPI, depending on what I'm playing
I have acceleration completely off with 3500dpi. I have 2 monitors so 3500dpi allows me to not run out of mouse pad.

I wish mouse pad wasant a finite resource.

Unless you have infinitely long arms I think a finite mouse pad is adequate

But the world would be a much better place if everything was made of mousepad.
