I'm starting college soon, and I was wondering if you guys have any advice for me. I'm only taking 3 classes so I can get my feet wet. On average how much free time do you think you had. I don't want to study 24/7, especially with GTA V around the corner.
I didn't study a lot and had far too much free time. It's not hard to balance schoolwork and leisure (and work if applicable) if you keep your head up. You'll be fine taking only three classes. I know to get through my university in four years you would have to take five classes on average per year and that's manageable if you can sacrifice some time here and there.
College is absolutely nothing like the movies, and the sooner you learn that the better.
You're also very likely to freak out over things for no good reason - especially during finals.
Finals of first year I literally just started freaking out that my life had no direction and then when second year came around I had no issue deciding what I wanted to do with my life.

Movies think College is where you go to get drunk and party all night.
Honestly, I've been doing the same stuff I've been doing since Highschool in college, and its working for me nicely.
Don't be a busta.
Just think of it as high school but with way less restrictions.
Just remember most professors are nicer than you think. If your late on turning something in and need some extra time to get it finished it doesn't hurt to ask. The worst they can do is say no.
It took me three semesters for someone to bring this site up to my attention.

Basically just enter the professor's first and last name. I did fine without it but I'm using it every chance now.
