Here's the specs of my machine. I'm heading over to the states and want to know if it's worth trying to upgrade. Trying to play Arma 3 on it did not work well.

Yep, an upgrade would probably be in order. What's your maximum budget?

That could maybe buy you like 1 of the 3-4 things you'd need minimum to not completely bottleneck out with the rest of your parts.
Guess it's time to save up?
edit: Actually you could 'improve' that build with that, but not with any parts from the latest 2-3 generations (not really worth it, sorry mate.)
Basically - you need a completely new setup..
