Does anyone know if this would like, disqualify me from scholarships or anything or do minor incidences like this do anything?

You need to run for the hills
You have to run for your life
I doubt it but what the hell were you thinking
Nope it will not, but it was stupid of you to do this.

God damn you, now I need to listen to Iron Maiden.
lolwut? They throw a bitch fit about a jerry can in the dorm room?
In my dorm we can't have anything that glows or radiates heat (toaster, hot plates, etc).
No, it shouldn't affect your scholarships, just find a different place to store it.

I have a 2-stroke moped, no car and live 2 hours from home with the nearest convenience store being >3 miles away
Seeing as I can't really fuel up at normal gas stations easily I thought storing premixed fuel in a fire-approved container would be okay until our RA stepped in and noticed that the door-stop was big, round and smelled of flammable material
Thanks for the info guys, was curious cause they were like "we're still going to have to document this even though it poses no danger yada yada" and I couldn't really comprehend what that meant and google searches yielded nothing
in my dorm you get a warning (+your parents get notified i think) if you get caught smoking or drinking, whereas a second incident leads to you being expelled from the dorm. not sure what their policy on gas cans are though.
can't see it being as serious as smoking weed or getting wasted.
