• PC constantly restarting - maybe mobo dying

Crosspost from Sipwickett Well, I have a serious problem with my pc. It sudenly restarts often sooner and sooner than the last restart. I checked the temperatures, but found no overheating. I cleaned out the mobo and everything, but still no change. I then decided to buy a new PSU, because I tought my PSU was dying. So I spent all the money I had on the new PSU. I was happy that I found cure for the issue, installed the new part, but it didn't fix the problem. I asked my parents if they have any clue what's happening, and dad came up with the idea that it is a ram issue. So I first changed the two rams, and the pc couldn't get to the POST without constantly restarting. I pulled out the bad module and put back the other to the first slot where it was. The pc was working, I was happy and everything. But! After several hours using the computer, it sudenly restarted itself again. Then it did the same thing over and over again like if the bad module was in the other slot. It's night already, so I try to put the good module in the secondary slot tomorrow and see what happens. For now, it seems that the mobo is not alright, but I can't do anything about it. If the pc won't work with only using the secondary ram slot, then I won't have a computer for a very long time. I'm very sad about it. If you have any ideas about what can I do with it, please tell me.
Well, if your computer was working fine for a good while and popped up again, you should download memtest86, put it on a flash drive and boot your computer from it.
