Hoo doggie, that's a lot of simoleons
Great day in the mornin!
And it's still nowhere near the amount of cash in traditional sports.
considering esports has only been a thing for the past decade or so, thats pretty damned big
Not to mention Dota 2 is still technically in Beta and isn't even finished yet.
dota is super srs guys [editline]d[/editline] In all seriousness though, why exactly are the winnings so high?
dead game no players to win the prize money gg volvo
And it's still nowhere near the amount of cash in traditional sports.
Being smart enough to understand the basics of tactics and planning while sitting in a chair to click on a mouse and a chair can get you up to 2 million dollars. I think it's a pretty good effort/reward ratio.
dead game no players to win the prize money gg volvo
fck the playerz, wheres muh heros gaben? fuck this, going back 2 lol But seriously now, if I had disposable cash, I'd chip in on the help and buy a compendium aswell.
read the article, theres a thing you can buy ingame for some items and privileges that contributes some of the money you paid to the prize pool
You should also precise none of the privileges have any game impact, I think it's fairly important.

It's like you're saying learning physics and understanding quantum mechanics is easy because you just have to sit down and read books and write down numbers and letters to figure it out. Learning fotball/soocer is also really easy because you just have to run around and kick a ball.
ONLY THE SKELETON KING IS ALLOWED TO BALL OUT OF CONTROL.
Learning fotball/soocer is also really easy because you just have to run around and kick a ball.
If it was THAT easy there'd be a lot more people making millions that way.
Learning fotball/soocer is also really easy because you just have to run around and kick a ball.
except the people who play run around and kick a ball professionally have trained all their life to run around and kick a ball and have trained to run around and kick a ball their whole life.
except the people who play run around and kick a ball professionally have trained all their life to run around and kick a ball and have trained to run around and kick a ball their whole life.
At the end of the day they're still learning how to run around and kick balls. It's just about learning the best ways to doing it and then getting good at it.
except the people who play run around and kick a ball professionally have trained all their life to run around and kick a ball and have trained to run around and kick a ball their whole life.
how is that any different from the people making shitloads of money playing games? you think they just picked it up in a couple of months?
