enable vsync in options
I believe I have that on..I'll go double check. [editline]11:10AM[/editline] yah..I have Vsync on..
Roads are supposed to have those. They help cars not crash.
Roads are supposed to have those. They help cars not crash. :haw:
look at the media tagged image...you can clearly see the vertical lines...not the stupid road line.
look at the media tagged image...you can clearly see the vertical lines...not the stupid road line.
I clearly see a red box in the media image, but no lines.
I clearly see a red box in the media image, but no lines.
they are sometimes really hard to notice...but they are easily seen in the game..it's driving me nuts.
they are sometimes really hard to notice...but they are easily seen in the game..it's driving me nuts.
Make another box around the line. But only where the line is or something. Don't make it huge.
Make another box around the line. But only where the line is or something. Don't make it huge.
I'm getting a screenshot from zeno clash..they are MUCH easier to see. [editline]11:19AM[/editline] Look towards the creature to the right...You can see the vertical lines near him. Note I run all these games on max settings.
Still don't see them.
are you talking about anti aliasing
Still don't see them.
Look at the middle of the picture then look towards the creature towards the right..there are vertical lines.. [editline]11:27AM[/editline]
are you talking about anti aliasing
no.
I see them. EDIT: Let me take this picture into photoshop and make the lines obvious as all hell.
I see them.
Okay good...so I'm not crazy at least.. [editline]11:29AM[/editline]
I see them. EDIT: Let me take this picture into photoshop and make the lines obvious as all hell.
K cool. PS I run this at 1680x1050..but photobucket likes to resize
I see them as well. They look like very faint vertical scan lines. Possible graphics card problem? Try updating drivers, then reseating your card if that doesn't work.
I used to have this problem, too. However, mine were horizontal lines. You just need to adjust your clock and phase. Here, take this. http://www.lagom.nl/lcd-test/clock_phase.php Go fullscreen, then auto adjust. If you still have problems, tweak it manually.
The weird washboard effects in the filtered area I made is what he's talking about.
^thank you for making that easier to see.
That's pretty weird. Probably a GPU problem - If it were a monitor one nobody else would be able to see it, so it's not your clock and phase settings.
That's pretty weird. Probably a GPU problem - If it were a monitor one nobody else would be able to see it, so it's not your clock and phase settings.
Yah that's exactly what I thought. [editline]11:57AM[/editline] so any ideas?
I'm also noticing this bug slightly in l4d2...mostly in the parish near the bushes... still need help..
vsync?
vsync?
I already suggested that, it makes no difference. [editline]06:02PM[/editline] Have a
It looks like your card is having a hard time drawing gradual lighting changes. Those lights are where it gets darker, and the space between two lines is slightly darker than the space before it (going left to right). I don't know much about hardware, so I have no idea if this is accurate or if it helps at all. I'm just using my deductive reasoning skills to highlight the problem, so maybe someone else can figure it out. :v:
Is see them it sort of looks like screen burn. Like where a image has been burned in to your screen
Is see them it sort of looks like screen burn. Like where a image has been burned in to your screen
But then we wouldn't see them.
Is see them it sort of looks like screen burn. Like where a image has been burned in to your screen
It's not a monitor problem if you can see it in a screenshot.
Post these:

specs
video card temps: idle, average
system/cpu temps
have you ever overclocked the card?
Intel Core 2 Extreme CPU x9750 4GB memory 1.5tb harddrive Nvidia GeForce 9800 GT I don't think I've overclocked it I'll check the temperature in a minute.
Obviously just dirt/smudging on your screen. Just give it a wipe.
