been really bored lately and have wanted to get into an anime. doesn't really have to be an anime, maybe a tv series or whatever else
only anime i've really seen and enjoyed was death note. i watched some of bleach but i just really didn't like it, and haven't really looked into any others that much.
any suggestions?
Cowboy Bebop, Baccano and Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood are my favorites so far.

If you've got a lot of time, try One Piece. It has great characters, wide and complex world, good story moments and especially great environments. I'd recommend the manga over the anime, though, because Toei Animation fucking sucks at making a decent anime version out of it. Episodes 1-325 are mainly good from the quality, after it, there are more episodes that sucked in animation.
If you like gore, try Elfen Lied.
